Mike Schmitz is the Videographer and Motion Graphics Artist at AmpliPhi Social Media Strategies. Whether it's a small production or a custom animated video, Mike can work with you in creating the perfect piece of content to drive marketing campaigns or develop your online presence.
Mike graduated from Madison Media Institute’s Video Production program and is an FAA Part-107 UAS certified drone pilot. Before joining AmpliPhi he was a part of UW Madison's Video Production Team, a Wedding Videographer, and a freelance drone pilot.
Client Success Manager
Erin Schleicher is a Client Success Manager who partners with companies to grow their professional brands. After spending over a decade working in events and marketing, Erin specializes in eCommerce and has run hundreds of campaigns using custom audiences and geographic, demographic and psychographic targeting.
Erin holds an undergraduate degree and MBA in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin and continues to grow her marketing knowledge through conferences, webinars, podcasts and networking.
Client Success Manager
Lauren Miles is a Client Success Manager at AmpliPhi Social Media Strategies. As a former client of AmpliPhi during her time as a Corporate Marketing Associate for a home improvement magazine, Lauren brought with her a wealth of knowledge behind sales campaign strategy and video marketing. She has continually proven to be a valuable asset to our team with her ability to develop, create and implement client training materials and her consistent growth and knowledge with strategic planning and website development.
Lauren graduated with honors from the University of Florida earning a BA in Economics and a minor in Retail Leadership. Lauren is based in Fort Myers, FL, as our only remote team member.
Spencer x smith
Spencer X Smith is the Founder of AmpliPhi, and an instructor at the University of Wisconsin and Rutgers University. He was formerly a VP of Sales for two Fortune 100 companies.
He's been called a "Social Media Expert" by Forbes, and AmpliPhi is the winner of four consecutive (2016-2019) InBusiness Magazine Executive Choice Awards for Social Media Consulting Company. Spencer has spoken at over 250 events since 2015, including a presentation at the New York Stock Exchange in 2017.
His book "ROTOMA: The ROI of Social Media Top of Mind" was featured in Forbes and is an Amazon Bestseller.
While on tour presenting in 2016, Spencer X. Smith listened to business owners and marketing teams across the country as they described their social media techniques and how they were being used for their business. He would tell them exactly where to begin and what to do to improve their efforts and see real, meaningful results. He soon realized that owners, marketing professionals, or anyone else that would post on your Facebook page just doesn’t have the time it takes to focus on what’s really important. There was definitely an unmet need in the market for a company with experience in obtaining measurable results and achieving concrete goals.
In 2017 AmpliPhi was born. A Madison-based social media and digital marketing agency that utilizes proven tactics to drive client goals and objectives.
Spence knew that he couldn’t do this alone, so he recruited former Myopic Son band-aid and friend of 20 years, Helen Kosterman. Although Helen has now moved in-house with an AmpliPhi client to work as part of their team, her influence is still prominent in our DNA.
The story advanced in 2018 when we knew that many of our clients could really benefit from solid video content. It's the best type of content for use on social media because it's versatile, it takes less time than reading, the social platforms are very video friendly and if properly setup you can completely track the results of how your video is viewed by consumers.
With all these things in mind, we explored many options from buying a fancy camera that our clients could use anytime to hiring freelancers to shoot and edit videos for us. Ultimately, none of those options made sense, so we went out and hired our own team. We started with one videographer. That didn't last long. Mostly because everyone works better with a team, but mainly because we pride ourselves on getting videos done in a timely manner at an affordable cost.
Now we have a video team. And they're awesome. And we love them. Hopefully you will too!
